Secondary box labeling – high-speed labeling of packaging
With labeling equipment from Logopak, you can quickly, accurately, and securely label secondary packaging, such as shrink wrap or trays.
Secondary labeling refers to packaging that encloses and protects products. Secondary packaging can be cartons, trays, containers, six-packs etc. It is used to group individual products and package them into a shipping package. Common to the different types of secondary packaging and surfaces is that they need to be labeled quickly and efficiently on the production line with product information such as article numbers, barcodes, batch numbers, and best before dates.

Linerless – Make the greener choice for your production
Linerless refers to machines that use linerless labels. This means that the labels do not have a paper layer (a liner) on the back, which is normally found on classic labels. Instead, the labels are self-adhesive and can be rolled up without the need for an extra layer.
Why choose linerless? Linerless is a greener choice for several reasons:
- Less waste: As mentioned, traditional labels usually have a paper layer on the back, which is thrown away as waste after use. Linerless labels eliminate the use of this paper layer and thereby the waste.
- Less material consumption: Without the liner layer, less material is required in the production of the labels, which significantly reduces resource consumption.
- Reduced carbon footprint: Linerless labels are lighter and require less energy to produce and transport. Therefore, they contribute to a lower carbon footprint compared to traditional labels.
- Increased efficiency: As there is no longer a liner layer, linerless labels can be wound with more printable material. This helps increase efficiency and reduces the number of stops to change the rolls. This means less downtime for your production.
LOGOMATIC 410

Pallet labeling and traceability

When taking an overview of the production flow, pallet labeling occurs at the final packaging stage before transport, where multiple products are combined into a single shipping unit. The flexible design of Logopak machines allows the same machine to be used for printing and applying labels on the front, side, or top of the packaging. Your new Logopak machine features Schneider Servo for controlling the label path and printer. This ensures a safe and precise label feed every time.
Depending on the model, the label roll can be up to 1200 meters. This means you have fewer roll changes and therefore fewer stops on the production line. The length of the label and ribbon roll is the same, so changing rolls only requires a single stop.
Logopak machines come standard with an alarm for low pressure detection for the pneumatic label applicator, reducing production downtime.
With the smart Quick Shift Print Engine, you can switch your entire print engine in seconds, without the use of tools.
With Permanent Dot Control you avoid lines in the print – if a dot is damaged in the print head, the printer either moves the text itself or triggers an alarm. This prevents errors and ensures that your barcodes are always readable.
